Peter Berg was one of the original San Francisco Diggers and went on to co-found the Planet Drum Foundation. He was at the first UN Conference on the Environment in Stockholm Sweden in 1972, was one of the originators of Bioregionalism, and has been at the heart of many ecological battles, including California's Peripheral Canal.
